Next issue of OMEGA
The next issue of OMEGA will be Summer 2012 which will be distributed from 23rd July 2012 and dates for copy are:
- 8th June 2012 for Executive Representative Diary Dates and their News of the Regions and Nations
- 22nd June 2012 for any articles, or other items, from individual AOUG Members or from the OU departments.
If you would like to submit material for this Summer edition please contact the AOUG Office.
The Summer edition is planned to include:
- Report and write ups on both the AGM official business and the social aspects of the 2012 AGM/Social Weekend to be held at the Britannia Adelphi Hotel in Liverpool.
- Details of the Foundation Lecture to be given by Dr James Bruce in October 2012
- Information about the 2012 Faculty Research Awards Ceremony
- Details of the 2013, 25th Anniversary Celebration Year AGM and proposed events
- Updates on news of both AOUG and the OU
- News and Diary Dates from all the Regions and Nations
The current edition is Spring 2012 and includes:
- Two academic articles from 2011 Faculty Award winners
- Write ups on a Dickens walk in London and a handshake event over to Brugge
- All the news and information from The OU, Alumni, OUSA and the Senate.
- News and Diary Dates of all forthcoming events around the Regions and Nations.
- Information about a European Weekend in Rouen organised by the Local Contact.
- Inserts for voting for both the Executive Committee elections and the Resolutions/Motions to change the Memorandum and Articles or to direct AOUG procedures.
- Insert of the abridged accounts of all three AOUG Companies
- Information sheet for the AOUG Members` response survey.
Please note that the current issue of OMEGA is not available on this website at its distribution date, as it is sent to all current members by post as part of their annual subscription. However past editions are available to view in our archives section.
