Welcome to AOUG Overseas
Welcome | Newsletter | Diary Dates | Memory Lane
As most of you studied with the Open University outside the UK you are accustomed to being a distant learner and now a distant graduate. Belonging to AOUG enables us to retain an independent link with our University and, although we are unable to attend any of the interesting and varied events which take place in the UK, we can still retain the feeling of being part of it.
The Association's charity, AOUG Foundation for Education, gives financial awards to Open University research graduates. The research work which takes place at the Open University is as diverse as our degrees and, as with our degrees, often self funded so it is fitting that our charity is able to assist. By being a member of AOUG we contribute towards this worthy charity.
If at any time, you are in the UK, don't forget to take your latest copy of OMEGA with you: you and
your family are welcome to join in with any event advertised. Give the Executive Representative a call
or e.mail before leaving home to check times etc, you will find a warm welcome awaits you.
