OMEGA

OMEGA is the magazine published three times each year for AOUG members. It contains academic articles, members’ contributions and activities as well as news from our University. Together with the Website, and regular editions of Local Newsletters, OMEGA is the way in which we communicate with our membership. It is distributed, by post, to all current AOUG members as part of the membership package and also to senior members of The Open University and all Open University Departments. An email version is also available.

Current edition

The current Spring 2022 edition features the 2022 Degree Ceremonies held by The Open University at which we are invited to process. It includes preparatory information for our forthcoming 2022 Annual General Meetings. This year it will be held at Stirling Court Hotel on The University of Stirling Campus.

The OMEGA includes academic articles written by previous Foundation for Education Award recipients.  There are three articles in various subjects entitled “Searching for Efficient Networks”  by James Tuite, “Landfill Site Trees: Potential source or sink of greenhouse gases” by Alice Fraser-McDonald and “An Investigation into gender equity and iInclusion in corporate training and development programmes.” by Ingeborg Kroese.

Our member’s contributions demonstrate a variety of interests from being involved at Degree Ceremonies, an article on Las Cruces and poetry.
