Thursday 19th June. 11am
Meet in the café of the National Holocaust Centre, Acre Edge Road, Laxton, Newark, NG22 0PA, before visiting the Centre and the rose garden. If there is sufficient interest, it is possible to book a guide and perhaps even hear from a survivor of this awful time. So please let the Executive Representative know if you are interested. Admission is £10.00 per adult or £9.00 for concessions. The centre lies just outside the village of Laxton, which is itself of historic interest as it is the only place in Europe where the Medieval Strip Farming system can be seen. There is a visitors’ centre and a pub for lunch for those who wish to know more.
