Every first Wednesday in the month, the Edinburgh Group members meet via Zoom at 3pm for an online meet-up. If you are interested in getting involved in this group, please contact the Edinburgh Local Contact  for details so that you can be provided with the log-ins as required. Members who used to live in the Edinburgh area are also very welcome to get involved.

Holocaust Centre – 07

Holocaust Centre North Schwann Building, Huddersfield University, Queensgate, Huddersfield

Meet at the entrance of the Holocaust Centre North, Schwann Building, Huddersfield University, Queensgate, Huddersfield, HD1 3DH to view the exhibits. This centre seeks to inform about a global history by presenting written evidence and the stories of survivors who settled in the North of England. This event is a short wealk from the bus an rail stations.

Ghost Tour – 02

Nero's at Gloucester Green Bus Station Oxford

Meet at Nero's Cafe at Gloucester Green Bus Station, Oxford, OX1 2BU for a coffee and chat. Then from there we will walk together to the site of the Ghost Tour that starts ast 6.30pm

Cambridge Lunch – 06

Browns, 23, Trumpington Street, Cambridge, United Kingdom

Meet for lunch at Browns, 23, Trumpington Street, Cambridge, CB2 1QA for the final event of the year. Enjoy catching up with the group over a pleasant lunch with plenty of opportunity to visit one of the neighbouring museums before heading home.

Meet outside the Harley Gallery cafe at Welbeck and Dukeries Garden Centre, Welbeck, Worksop, Nottinghamshire, S80 3LT However it is recommended if you are using a SatNav to use S80 3LW instead !!!  Join friends and families for a walk around the Harley Gallery and the Portland Collection before visiting the adjacent Garden Centre to see the Christmas displays.

Pre-Christmas Get together – 08

Newbank Gaden Centre 74, Southworth Road, Newton-le-Wilows

Meet for as coffee and then lunch at the cafe in the Newbank Garden Centre, 74, Southworth Road, Newton-le-Willows, WA12 0BS prior to the Chruistmas holidays. This venue proved to be successful last December and we hope that many will join us. Booking is not necesaary but do let the Local Contact know if you are intending to come, so she can look out for you.

Trinity College – 12

Trinity College College Green, Dublin

Meet at the main entrance of Trinity College, College Green, Dublin 2. We will walk through the main gate and walk along the four main squares - Parliament Square, New Square, Fellows Square and Library Square. The Executiver Representative will be standing outside showing an OMEGA magazine. Trinity College Dublin is Ireland's most prestigious university, a collection of elegant Georgian and Victorian byuildings, cobbled squares and nature-friendly wildlife meadows that make foor a delightful place to wander. Afterr our walk, we will warm ourselves over a Christmas Lunch and drinks in 'The Bank on the Colege Green' which has greatr reviews.
