Guided tours are available. The carpark is near the House and Tea Room\, while the nearest station is Stevenage\, a few miles away\, requiring a bus or taxi connection. The House dates from Tudor times\, with Victorian additions\, and has undergone recent and ongoing restoration.  It is the seat of the Lytton family\, with links to literature\, politics and foreign service\, while the Park is perhaps best known for hosting pop/rock concerts for over fifty years.
