Every first Wednesday in the month, the Edinburgh Group members meet via Zoom at 3pm for an online meet-up. If you are interested in getting involved in this group, please contact the Edinburgh Local Contact for details so that you can be provided with the log-ins as required. Members who used to live in the Edinburgh area are also very welcome to get involved.

Meet in the coffee shop in the Visitors Centre of PontefractCastle, Castle Garth, Pontefract, WF8 1QH. After coffe the Visitors Centre offers plenty of interest and then outside there are the historic ruins of the castle. Constructed in 1070 and standing until its demise following the Civil Wars, the ruins demonstrate the once-fearsome fortress. Today the castle has a fascinating site to investigate and a keep to climb, offering magnificent views around.
Meet online for a friendly chat from the comfort of your own home. This time the discussion will be "Is there something you would like to dobut have never got round to it?" However we are always open to chatting about other things too as this is a very informal session for oprn discussion.

Meet in the Brewhouse Cafe at Tredegar House. This is a National Trust property so NT members will have free entry. However there is a charge for ther car park. be warned not to use ther postcode in your Sat Nav as this senmds you on a 'wild goose chase' . Instead follow Pencarn Way to the roundabout and there you will find the house entrance. There is the house, stable block orangery and gardens all to explore.

Meet in the cafe at the Catalyst Museum, Mersey Road, Widnes, Cheshire WA8 0DF. The Catalyst has a large free car pak. This is a repeat of a visit some years ago and that at the time proved to be a very interesting visit. The museum offers an exploration of the development of the chemical industry from ancient times up to the 1940s with reconstructed scenes, archives, films and computer quizzes bringing the past to life.
Meet ast the Cannon Street Underground Station, Cannon Street, EC4N 6AP for a visit to the Guidhall Art Gallery, with the possibility of also visiting some of the Christopher Wren churches, which are also works of art in their own right.
