Getting involved with the AOUG

Volunteer as an

Executive Committee Member

You will need to be a full Graduate Member and then apply by completing the nomination form in the Winter OMEGA so that you can stand for election the following year. Each Executive Representative position requires three assenters from their own Region or Nation and each Officer position requires six assenters who can be from any Region or Nation.

Ballot papers are then circulated in the following Spring OMEGA and if you get sufficient votes, you will take up your position on the Executive Committee at the end of the AGM  that year.

Please check the requirements of the role you wish to apply for prior to completing the nomination form to ensure you fully understand the responsibilities of the role.

Volunteer to be our OMEGA Editor

Interested in journalism, publishing or design? Want to gain experience to put on your CV?

Do you:
• enjoy visualising design layout?
• work well to deadlines?
• work well in a team?
• have good written communication skills?
• have good computer skills?
• have good spatial awareness?

ARE YOU THE PERSON WE NEED?
(or you do you know someone else who is?)

It does not matter if you are an AOUG member or not, as long as you are interested in working in a voluntary capacity to help the Officers produce OMEGA three times a year.
