Edinburgh Drawing on Style, Original Fashion Illustration (Café, Entrance Foyer & Shop) Featuring works by artists including Antonio Lopez, Kenneth Paul Block and Steven Stipelman, the exhibition explores how fashion illustrators bridged journalism and fine art at a moment when the illustrated image still rivalled photography. (Free admission) David Remfry In Residence (Tapestry Balcony) Acclaimed artist David Remfry brings his lyrical artistic vision to Edinburgh, featuring 30 evocative paintings, including a sensitive portrait of his friend, Alan Cumming and his first-ever tapestry, created with Dovecot Studios. (Free admission) The Biba Story, 1964–1975 (North Gallery, South Gallery) Explore how fashion phenomenon Biba blossomed to become the world’s first lifestyle label, sparking a revolution in how people shopped and how Biba earned its spot as the brand that epitomises 1960s and 1970s fashion. ( Admission £10.50)

Louise Bourgeois, Helen Chadwick and Robert Mapplethorpe.   Experience impactful new displays by Louise Bourgeois, Helen Chadwick, and Robert Mapplethorpe, each offering distinctive and diverse approaches to the ideas of self-expression, identity, and the complexity of our inner life. Visitors will encounter Louise Bourgeois’s three-metre-high Spider, innovative light boxes and a playful sculptural installation by Helen Chadwick and striking self-portraits by Robert Mapplethorpe. (Free admission) Surrealism :  Picturing the Strange. You will encounter bizarre creatures and weird machines, eerie landscapes and liminal spaces. These uncanny compositions juxtapose the familiar with the peculiar, subverting reality and exploring the potential of the mind. (Free admission).
