Meet at Chesters Museum, Chollerford, Northumberland, NE46 4EU. Nearby are the remains of a Roman Fort, This shows the most complete layout of Roman Cavalry Fort ruins in Britain. Entry is £10, but free to English Heritage members. If time allows, we may end the day at The George for relaxing refreshments.
