The abbey is the largest parish church in Hampshire, and dates back to the 10th Century. The abbey is renowned for its corbels (gargoyles) and stained glass. There are three pay car parks close by, and Romsey Railway Station is a ten minute walk away.

Arundel Wetland Centre – 02 – Portsmouth Group

Meet in the car park of the Arundel Wetland Centre, Mill Road, Arundel, BN18 9PB, to wander around the Wildlife and Wetland Centre alongside the River Arun. The sightings of wildlife can be varied, but it should be possible to see kingfishers, marsh harriers, firecrests and possibly the first of winter migrants. Access is along Mill Lane, about 1.3 miles from the railway station and nearest bus stop (no buses directly to the centre) Bring suitable footwear as the centre may be very muddy.
