Thursday 15th January. 2pm Meet at the entrance to Ashmolean Museum, Beaumont Street, Oxford. OX1 2PH. This will be by popular demand a return visit. Last time we only scratched the surface and looked at the basement. There is so much more to see, and we will attempt to finish another floor at least! Saturday 24th January. 12noon Meet at the main entrance of Wolverhampton Art Gallery, Lichfield Street, Wolverhampton, WV1 1DU (www.wolverhamptonart.org.uk) for a visit to the Art Gallery and New Year’s Lunch. This event is in two parts. The first part will be a visit to Art Gallery, followed by New Year’s Lunch in Glaze Cafe on the Ground Floor at 1.30pm. Please support these events with enthusiasm and celebrate the New Year. Contact the Executive Representative for reservations. Saturday 24th January. 12.30pm Meet in the bar area of the Botanist Restaurant, 15-19, Stonegate, York, YO1 8ZW, prior to lunch at 1pm. The organiser for this event is Jean Hertzog. All interested members are requested to reserve their place by a deposit of £10, by Monday 8th December’25 to the organiser who will supply them with the menu. Food choices must then be ordered with the organiser by Monday 15th December. If is advisable to use public transport or one of the ‘Park and Ride’ services as car parking is very limited in the centre of York. |
