There is much to explore, the Gothic style chapel, walled kitchen garden as well as a lakeside walk and trees, hopefully, in their full Autumn glory. This is a National Trust property.
Saturday 21st November. 11am Meet in the café at the Harris Museum Market Square, Preston, Lancashire, PR1 2PP. The Harris reopened in September 2025 after a £19 million transformation. This Grade I- listed building now houses free exhibitions, a library woven throughout the galleries, and the Wallace and Gromit exhibition celebrating Preston-born animator Nick Park. The Harris sits on Market Square in the city centre, about a ten-minute walk from Preston railway station. Turn right onto Fishergate from the station, walk straight until you reach Boots, then turn left onto Market Square.
