Meet at the ‘Pictureville Bar’ inside the Bradford Science and Media Museum, Little Horton Lane, Bradford, BD1 1NQ which is just a ten-minute walk from the railway station. The nearest car park is ‘Sharpe Street’ Car Park, or ‘The Broadway’ Car Park is a little further away. Bradford is the 2025 ‘City of Culture’ but the programme for November is not available at the time of this submission. Entry to the museum is free but it is advisable to pre-book online as entry numbers may be restricted at busy times.

Arundel Wetland Centre – 02 – Portsmouth Group

Meet in the car park of the Arundel Wetland Centre, Mill Road, Arundel, BN18 9PB, to wander around the Wildlife and Wetland Centre alongside the River Arun. The sightings of wildlife can be varied, but it should be possible to see kingfishers, marsh harriers, firecrests and possibly the first of winter migrants. Access is along Mill Lane, about 1.3 miles from the railway station and nearest bus stop (no buses directly to the centre) Bring suitable footwear as the centre may be very muddy.
