Munnings Art Museum

Thursday 18th September 2025 at noon Meet in the tearoom of The Munnings Art Museum, Castle House, Dedham, Colchester, CO7 6AZ for coffee or an early lunch before we visit the museum which opens at 1.30pm for those that wish to just join us for the museum visit. The museum is housed in the former home of Sir Alfred Munnings, a former President of the Royal Academy who is well known, particularly, for his painting of horses.  Tickets are £12 (2024 prices). The Munnings Art Museum is about 50 minutes’ walk or 30 minutes’ drive from Flatford Mill which inspired John Constable in some of his paintings and members may wish to visit this area before coming to Dedham.
